Mac World/New Year

Another year is in the banks and now we have the excitement of Macworld to look forward to. I can't wait to see if the rumors about the new intel macs are true. If they are then the Mac mini could become common place as the home entertainment center. With Front Row 2 and a possible DVR application users could record television shows to their computers hard drive or external drive similar to a Tivo device. With Front Row being the application as your one stop place for media you could organize your shows. Also the Mac mini would be a great computer to hook up to your TV to play back your video podcasts. One thing that I think would be really fun would be to have a video chat with one of my friends on my 50 inch Sony Grand Wega. This reminds me of Star Trek were Captain Pecard talks to his enemies on a video screen.
